Workshop Terms & Conditions

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Workshop registration or booking fees must be paid in full by the invoice due date to confirm your place in the workshop. Once payment has been received, you will be sent an email confirmation of receipt of your payment.
 
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO WORKSHOPS CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Full refunds of all monies paid will be made if we cancel the workshop, or if the workshop is re-scheduled by us and you are unable to attend on the new date.

Cancellation by participants must be made in writing. If you cancel your paid booking prior to seven (14) days of the workshop date, the workshop fee will be refunded less 25% of the fee. If you cancel your paid booking thirty (30) days prior to the workshop date, you will be refunded 100% minus any bank fees and charges.

No refund is available if you cancel within seven (14) of the workshop date.

Deposits paid to secure bookings at workshops are non-refundable unless we cancel the event.

Joffre Street Productions is not responsible for any other costs which workshop participants may have incurred including but not limited to travel, car rental, insurance, photographic purchases and/or rentals.

CHANGES TO WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

All workshop schedules and plans are subject to change at our discretion depending upon weather, health and safety considerations, or any other factor related or unrelated to photographic and video opportunities as we see fit.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All teaching materials delivered during the workshop via instructor are owned by the instructor and cannot be reproduced by participants without permission from the instructor and Joffre Street Productions.

Content created by participants at a workshop may be used to showcase what has been learnt with attribution to the instructor. The content created by participants at the workshop but cannot be used in professional portfolios or entry into competitions.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY

Joffre Street Productions accepts no liability for death, illness or injury or loss or damage to photo equipment or personal belongings during the course of the workshop or in transit thereto.

We can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the services to be provided. We reserve the right to change our arrangements should conditions necessitate, or cancel any aspect of the workshop due to exceptional circumstances. In the event that we deem it necessary to cancel the workshop, we will provide a full refund, which the participants acknowledge as full and final settlement. In the event of a workshop cancellation by Joffre Street Productions; liability of Joffre Street Productions to participants shall be limited to the total value of the workshop. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.

By joining any workshops offered by Joffre Street Productions, participants acknowledge that they are aware of risks and are physically capable of safely taking part in the workshop. Further, they release Joffre Street Productions, Bruce Moyle, guest presenters, workshop assistants and models from any liability. Joffre Street Productions, Bruce Moyle, guest presenters, workshop assistants and models will assume no liability for injury, illness or loss of personal property or expenses associated with participation in a workshop.

YOUR AGREEMENT TO THIS CONTRACT

In reserving a place on the workshop by paying the workshop fee, you are agreeing to accept all the above conditions. The person who makes the booking does so on behalf of all the individuals included, and all are bound by the booking conditions.
